Stuart Mackintosh interviewed by the Royal Bank of Scotland Recently the RBS came to Drury House, Rugby, to interview the Director of OpusVL to discover how they have sustained growth and prospered during the tough economic climate of the last year. The article appeared in the latest Spring edition which also included interviews with Deborah Meaden and Theo Paphitis, both Dragons Den stars and Lord Digby Jones, head of the CBI and former minister of state for trade. The article was headed "the road to steady growth." Stuart Mackintosh explained to the RBS that the ethos behind OpusVL was hard work, determination and enthusiasm. As a result, OpusVL provides quality service and products to all their customers. Open source software enables the team to create and integrate top quality solutions to meet a customers specific requirements. The RBS were also keen to hear Stuarts' 10 second tips for growth:-
The article includes details of the founding of OpusVL and Stuart Mackintosh hopes that the article will provide inspiration to start up businesses who may be finding it challenging to start up and grow. When OpusVL started back in 2000, Open Source was not widely recognised. The belief this would change has now been realised but it did take perseverance and dedication. Stuart is always looking for "the next big thing" within the IT sector to knowing this is a key skill to enable the company to expand on its year on year growth. You can download the article here
