OpusVL Host AGM

On Thursday the 30th September 2010, OpusVL will host the OSCs' Annual General Meeting. Members of the OSC will meet in Rugby to discuss various issues relating to open source and open standards

The OSC represent businesses who promote and deliver advice and solutions using Free/Open Source Software and Open Standards. They regularly campaign for the use of open source to be used within schools and government as well as businesses.

The OSC has recently complained to Ofcom regarding the BBCs latest project, the design of a proprietry standard for Internet Media players, effectively blocking anyone who uses a different system from watching internet TV.
